19 golden rules to help shape a stubborn child according to Montessori
"Parents give birth to children, God gives them their character." If people only rely on that saying, they will neglect to educate their children because even if they do, they will not improve. At that time, the concept of "well-educated" children will be abandoned.
Children are mini versions of adults. Children are blank slates and teaching them requires a lot of thinking to be successful. Even with children who have very special personalities, we can still shape them.
Maria Montessori (1870-1952) was an Italian physician and philosopher. In 1909, she introduced a method of educating children that is still recognized today. Many of the principles we use today stem from her set of truths:

1. Children learn from what is around them.
2. If children are often criticized, they will learn to criticize others.
3. If children are often praised, they will learn to appreciate others.
4. If children often witness hostility, they will like to fight.
5. If you are honest with a child, they will learn the meaning of fairness.
6. If children are often ridiculed, they will become fearful and shy.
7. If children feel safe, they will learn to trust others.
8. If children are often humiliated, they will always feel guilty.
9. If children are encouraged regularly, they will have high self-esteem.
10. If children are given way, they learn patience.
11. If children are supported, they will be confident.
12. If a child lives in a harmonious environment where everyone wants to be with him, he will know what to do to be loved.

13. Never speak ill of a child, either to their face or behind their back.
14. Focus on nurturing good qualities in children. That way there will be no room for bad things.
15. Always listen and answer questions and respond to children's requests.
16. Be respectful even when your child makes a mistake. This way, your child will learn to correct his mistakes soon enough.
17. Always be there when your child needs help. Always be there when your child finds what he or she wants.
18. Teach children skills as early as possible. Make sure the world around them is filled with love and peace.
19. Always be a role model for your children. Teach them how to be the best they can be.
Some of the above things you may already know, but there are certainly things you just realized. To raise a good child, besides love and patience, you also need the right method. Keep trying, there is nothing greater than raising people.
