(Baonghean.vn) - Two sisters went to the dam together to play and unfortunately slipped into deep water, causing both of them to drown.
At 5:00 p.m. on February 1, at Khe Bo dam area in hamlet 4, Nghia Hop commune, two siblings, Tran Thi Thanh (7 years old) and Tran Thi Nhan (4 years old), children of Tran Van Hoan and Nguyen Thi Thom (residents of hamlet 4, Nghia Hop commune) went down to Khe Bo dam to play together.
Unfortunately, the two children slipped and fell into deep water, leading to drowning.
After receiving the news, the Party Committee, authorities, departments and organizations of Nghia Hop commune coordinated with the family and people to salvage the bodies of the two children to shore.
Although Hoan and Thom’s family have escaped poverty, their current situation is still very difficult. Nghia Hop Commune has supported 5 million VND, and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Tan Ky District has supported 2 million VND to help the family arrange the burial of the two children.
