The victim was Va Ba Lau, 15 years old, residing in Nam Can village, Nam Can commune.

Previously, at 12 noon on April 21, a drowning accident also occurred in the Giang River area. The victim was Vi Van Huy, 8 years old, residing in Xieng village, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An.
