Two Nghe An teachers honored as outstanding teachers

(Baonghean.vn)- Mr. Ho Sy Hung and Ms. Hoang Thi Lan are two excellent teachers representing more than 46,000 cadres and teachers in Nghe An who will be honored by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Mr. Ho Sy Hung is a teacher at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted; Ms. Hoang Thi Lan is a teacher at Nghi Hung Kindergarten, Nghi Loc district.

Teacher Ho Sy Hung - Math teacher - Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted is the person who directly trained Nguyen Canh Hoang, who won the Gold Medal at the International Math Olympiad in Brazil in 2017.

He is also the head of the school's Math team. In the 2016-2017 school year, 100% of the Math team's students participating in the National Excellent Student Competition achieved high results, including 10 students winning second prize.

Teacher Hoang Thi Lan, despite suffering from a serious illness since 2012 and facing very difficult circumstances, with extraordinary determination, has always strived to excel in her duties. She won the First Prize in the Nghi Loc District Excellent Preschool Teacher Competition twice in a row (2014 and 2016).

She has 03 basic scientific research achievements (district level), in 2015 she has 01 provincial scientific research achievement. For many consecutive years, teacher Hoang Thi Lan has achieved the basic scientific research achievement award.

The honoring night will take place on November 18 in Hanoi. This is an annual program to honor the contributions of teachers and administrators in the education and training career.

This year, nationwide, 168 outstanding teachers and educational administrators were honored.
