Two MPs killed in terrorist attack in Somalia.
At least 15 people died in a terrorist attack in the heart of Somalia's capital, Mogadishu.
On February 20, Islamist extremists belonging to the Al-Shabab insurgency attacked a hotel in the center of Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, killing at least 15 people, including two members of parliament, a deputy mayor, and a police officer.
According to the Mogadishu police chief, the two attackers planted bombs before raiding the hotel.

The attack began with a car bomb explosion at the hotel's main entrance, followed by a series of gunshots and ending with a suicide bombing inside.
Al-Shabab, founded in 2012, is an extremist jihadist group seeking to impose Islamic law in Somalia and has pledged allegiance to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda.
Earlier this month, the Al-Shabab group also shot and killed a Somali parliamentarian in a shooting in the capital, Mogadishu.
