2 fishermen followed the ship out to sea to join the search for 9 missing Nghe An crew members
(Baonghean.vn) - After storm No. 2 passed, authorities are continuing to move to the waters of the Gulf of Tonkin to search for 9 Nghe An crew members who are missing after the ship sank.

Why has the search for 9 Nghe An fishermen and their sunken fishing boat yielded no results?
(Baonghean.vn) - The group of divers could only dive down to 48 meters before having to return because they did not have enough oxygen tanks, while the location of the sunken fishing boat was at a depth of 65 meters, so they could not approach the fishing boat and find the fishermen.
On July 4, Mr. Nguyen Van Uoc - Chairman of Tien Thuy Commune People's Committee (Quynh Luu) said that at 8:00 p.m. last night, July 4, SAR 411 ship of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center left Cua Lo port to move to the waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, coordinating with the functional forces of the Ministry of Transport to organize a search for 9 missing crew members.

On this trip, 2/9 crew members were lucky to survive the accident that caused the ship to sink, Dinh Trong Dung and Pham Huu Hoan volunteered to go with the group to join the search for their relatives.
“Yesterday evening, Mr. Dung and Mr. Hoan entered Cua Lo port to board the SAR 411 ship to depart for the location of the ship in distress to search for the missing crew members. Currently, the authorities at the Ministry of Transport and the National Search and Rescue Center are holding meetings to discuss and develop plans to organize the search for the missing crew members,” Mr. Uoc added.
While the SAR 411 ship and 2 crew members were moving to the location of the ship in distress, this morning, at Lach Quen port, the People's Committee of Tien Thuy commune and relatives of the 9 missing fishermen coordinated to organize a memorial service according to local customs.
Fisherman Nguyen Xuan Tuyen, one of the 9 rescued crew members, said: "Tomorrow morning (July 6), we will use our friends' fishing boat to take the remaining 7 crew members to Hai Phong sea to support the authorities in the search."

“Although we cannot dive deep into the sea to search for our relatives, with our many years of experience at sea, we can locate the sunken ship and help the authorities. Only when we find the nine missing crew members will we feel at ease. If we leave our brothers at sea, everyone will feel heartbroken,” said Tuyen.
