200 kg of swallows emitting a foul odor were transported on a North-South passenger bus.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 20th, the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station apprehended a case involving the transportation of 210kg of animal products of unknown origin that had a foul odor.

All animal products have been handed over to the veterinary authorities for processing.

While patrolling on National Highway 1A, in the section passing through Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, the task force of the Traffic Police Station inspected a passenger car with license plate 17B 01231 driven by Nguyen Trung Thanh, residing in Hong Ha district, Thai Binh province.

During the inspection, authorities discovered four styrofoam boxes and one sack containing animal bones, various types of meat, and poultry, all emitting a foul odor, weighing 210 kg. The driver could not produce any quarantine documents or prove the origin of the goods, and admitted to transporting them for a customer from Thai Binh to Vinh City for sale.

Many types of birds have been pre-processed.

Currently, all of the aforementioned animal products have been handed over to the Dien Chau veterinary agency for destruction in accordance with the law.
