In preparation for the 2025/26 V-League season, Song Lam Nghe An has completed the recruitment of striker duo Moore Reon Dale and center back Garcia Justin Julian from Defence Force FC. Both will be present at Vinh Stadium on August 12 to start training with their new teammates.

Moore Reon Dale (born 1996) is an experienced striker who has played for many clubs in Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala and Canada. He can play as a striker or on the wing, and has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances for the Trinidad and Tobago national team since 2018.

With speed, diverse finishing ability and flexibility in movement, Moore is expected to bring new momentum to the attack.Lam River Nghe An.

Garcia Justin Julian (born 1995) has been a mainstay of the Defence Force's defense since 2016. He has played 32 matches, scored 2 goals for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, has a 1m84 physique and good situation reading ability.

Notably, Garcia has just been voted the Best Player of the 2024-2025 season of the Trinidad and Tobago Premier League after making a great contribution to helping Defence Force FC win the championship. The appearance of this central defender is expected to help SLNA's defense become more solid.

Previously, SLNA re-signed striker Olaha and successfully recruited midfielder Carlos Enrique.

While Olaha is ready to play, Carlos Enrique is still being actively trained by the fitness coach to regain his form after a long break. He has now completed about 2/3 of the training program and can play from round 2 or round 3 of V-League 2025/26.

The presence of Carlos Enrique is expected to strengthen the midfield of the Vinh team. The Colombian midfielder possesses impressive ball recovery ability, strong, passionate but still technical playing style, promising to become a fulcrum for Khac Ngoc to maximize his strengths in ball control and organizing the play for the Song Lam Nghe An attack.

After completing the contracts with Moore and Garcia, SLNA is considered to have almost completed the foreign player framework for the new season, meeting the requirements in all three lines: defense, midfield and attack.

The former Trinidad and Tobago international duo will be unlikely to be available for the opening match against PVF-CAND, but Nghe An fans can still look forward to their official debut at Vinh Stadium in round 2 of the 2025/26 V-League.

SLNA has had great success with players from Central America and the Caribbean. If they quickly adapt to the playing style and football environment of Vietnam, Moore and Garcia could become important links in the journey to conquer the V-League 2025/26.

As the new season approaches, the presence of quality foreign players, combined with the high determination of the whole team, is lighting up great hope for Nghe An fans. Under the leadership of coach Phan Nhu Thuat, SLNA is expected to have a breakthrough season, no longer worrying about relegation like in the 2024/25 season.
