2 serious traffic accidents

(Baonghean.vn) -At 10:45 PM on May 20th, a serious accident occurred at kilometer 119 + 400 on National Highway 48, near Que Phong bridge in Dua hamlet, Muong Ngoc commune, resulting in three people being seriously injured.

Initial investigations indicate that the cause was that three young men riding a motorbike with license plate 37F1 054.34, traveling from Kim Son town towards Chau Kim, lost control of their speed and crashed into a truck carrying ore with license plate 37C 040.29 traveling in the opposite direction.

After the accident, the truck driver fled the scene, while two of the three seriously injured young men were rushed to Que Phong District Hospital in critical condition. The third man, who was also bleeding profusely, escaped.

Currently, the traffic police in Que Phong district are investigating, identifying the perpetrators, and clarifying the incident.

* Earlier, at around 9:30 PM on the same day, at 274 Tran Phu Street, opposite the Central Park of Vinh City, a collision occurred between a taxi with license plate 30H.2357 and a motorbike without a license plate, resulting in two people being seriously injured.

According to witnesses, the taxi was traveling from the Central Park gate onto Tran Phu Street when it spotted a motorbike carrying two young men coming from the roundabout (heading from Le Duan Street to Tran Phu Street) at a fairly high speed. The taxi driver stopped, but due to losing control of the speed, the young man driving the Wave 110 S motorbike crashed head-on into the taxi.

At the scene, the front of the motorbike and the taxi were severely damaged, and the two young men riding the motorbike at a fairly high speed without helmets were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital by local residents.

Notably, both of these serious traffic accidents involved motorcyclists who violated traffic laws: carrying three people, not wearing helmets, and not controlling their speed.
