20,692 rural workers received vocational training.

(Baonghean) - Implementing the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1956/QD-TTg dated November 27, 2009, on "Vocational training for rural laborers," the province has so far organized vocational training for 20,692 people in 703 classes with a total budget of 34,240 million VND using the policy of the project.

Specifically, 26 vocational training models were implemented effectively, including: livestock farming (pigs, chickens), rattan and bamboo weaving, freshwater fish farming, embroidery, industrial sewing, motorcycle repair, and mushroom cultivation.

Through vocational training institutions, especially non-public ones, social resources have been mobilized to participate in vocational training, and conditions for ensuring the quality of vocational training have been strengthened. The participation of production, business, and service establishments has been mobilized, attracting businesses to actively participate, support, and create conditions for rural laborers to find employment or organize their own production and business after vocational training... The average employment rate for rural laborers after vocational training is over 75%.

These results have contributed to increasing labor productivity, shifting the rural labor structure towards industrialization and modernization, and alleviating poverty in the province.
