20 mass art troupes will participate in the Lotus Village Festival

This year's Sen Village Festival is held from May 17 to May 19. In addition to the ceremony being kept the same as previous years, the new point of this year's Festival is that all the festival activities are held in Kim Lien commune - Nam Dan, including: Sen Village Singing Festival; Photo exhibition with content about President Ho Chi Minh's portrait, Sen Village Festival and Resolution 05 on building and developing Nghe An's human culture; Youth camp; film screening program; folk games.

The highlight of this year's Lotus Village Festival is the Lotus Village Singing Festival held at the outdoor stage of Kim Lien Relic Site on May 18 and the morning of May 19. The purpose of this festival is to bring the festival closer to the audience, bringing the Lotus Village Festival activities to the space of Lotus Village. The festival has the participation of the National Performing Arts Delegation of 20 districts, cities and towns.

Each unit will create a 30-minute music and dance program to participate in. At the same time, the units will select 2 actors to participate in the Miss Lotus Festival contest held within the framework of the Lotus Village Singing Festival.

The opening night of this year's Lotus Village Festival was held in Kim Lien Commune - Nam Dan at 8:00 p.m. on May 17, lasting about 90 - 95 minutes.

The art program “Offering You Homeland Songs” on the opening night was performed in the genre of mixed music and dance; with the participation of mass art troupes from Que Phong, Quy Hop, Ky Son districts, Cua Lo town, Vinh city, and the province’s Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. The program’s content included performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the homeland.

The opening night is expected to have 546 delegates attending, along with thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Minh Thong requested that the departments and units assigned with tasks review the implementation. In particular, the departments need to pay attention to fire prevention and fighting, security and order... The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to review the content and tasks to send specific plans to the units.
