2013 was the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong.
On October 6th, in Da Nang City, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the People's Committee of Hai Phong City held a presentation on the 2013 National Tourism Year, titled "National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong 2013".
The 2012 National Tourism Year was named the National Tourism Year of the North Central Coast - Hue 2012.
National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta – Hai Phong 2013With the theme "Red River Civilization," cultural, artistic, sports, tourism, trade, fair, and seminar events will be solemnly organized in Hai Phong and other provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc and some neighboring provinces: Phu Tho, Bac Giang.
Specifically in Hai Phong city, the highlight activities are concentrated in the city center and the two key tourist destinations of Do Son and Cat Ba.
The National Tourism Year 2013 took place throughout 2013, with the announcement ceremony held in January 2013; and the Red River Delta - Hai Phong Culture and Tourism Week 2013.with the 2nd Red Flamboyant Flower Festival.
