203kg of smelly cowhide seized on the way to Thanh Hoa

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 26, on Vinh bypass, Nghi Loc police arrested a car transporting 203kg of rotten cowhide.

At the above time, Nghi Loc District Police stopped and checked a passenger car with license plate 38B - 006.86 driven by Mr. Ngo Sy Hung (born 1983), residing in Ky Lam commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.

During the inspection, the working group discovered in the trunk of the car 5 foam boxes containing 203kg of rotten cowhide, without any accompanying documents.

Driver Hung confessed to transporting this amount of cowhide for an unidentified person from Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh) to Thanh Hoa.

Nghi Loc District Police made a record to confiscate the above cowhide and handed it over to the authorities to destroy it according to regulations.
