An interdisciplinary inspection team inspected the water filtration system of a bottled water production facility in Nghi Loc district.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Chief Inspector of the Department of Science and Technology (Head of the inspection team) said: Through testing 26 indicators of 21 water samples that did not meet quality standards, the indicators that did not meet quality standards were mainly microorganisms. Among them, many water samples contained Pseudomonas aeruginosa (scientific name: Pseudomonas). This is a type of bacteria that is very harmful to human health.

These establishments used fake test results to release substandard bottled water products to the market, affecting the health of consumers.

In addition, the interdisciplinary inspection team also discovered that the fake test results were stamped by Vilas 236 (Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality) showing the time periods from March 2013 to June 2015. However, since October 2012, Vilas 236 testing room has stopped operating due to expiration. In response to this incident, the authorities are currently clarifying the violations of Mr. Trinh Quang Thong.(ChiefQuality Standards Department - Nghe An Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, issues test certificates and is used to declare conformity)to have a basis for handling according to the provisions of law.
