21 prisoners in Nghe An are allowed to return home for Tet

(Baonghean.vn) – Implementing the Party and State's leniency policy towards those who have made mistakes, on the morning of February 4, Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center held a ceremony to announce the decision to reduce the prison sentence term on the occasion of Lunar New Year for 47 prisoners who have behaved well during their sentence.

During the 2016 Lunar New Year, the council for reviewing prison sentence reduction decided to reduce the prison sentences of 47 prisoners. Of these, 21 prisoners had their entire sentences reduced, and 26 prisoners had their sentences reduced by 2 to 7 months. These prisoners all had good rehabilitation records, strictly followed discipline, rules and regulations during their sentence.

During the Lunar New Year this year, at the Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center, 47 prisoners had their prison sentences reduced.
