250 actors and artists participated in the 2016 Lotus Village Singing Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - Celebrating the 126th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2016),towards the national election day of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term,On the morning of May 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 2016 "Sen Village Singing Festival".

Also attending were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Attending the 2016 Sen Village Singing Festival were 10 mass art troupes from districts, cities and towns in the delta region with more than 250 actors and artists.

After 35 years of organization, the festival has become a traditional activity to express the gratitude and admiration of the people of the whole country for beloved Uncle Ho - the national liberation hero, outstanding cultural figure. Thereby, propagating and educating the ideology for cadres, soldiers and people of the whole country to continue implementing the campaign of Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.

This is also an opportunity for the people and artists, actors, and musicians of the cultural and artistic movement in the whole province to learn and exchange arts. The organizing committee also believes that through this festival, there will be many new high-quality works, good voices, beautiful dances, creative performances and programs, and an opportunity to discover promising young singers and artists.
