26 students received scholarships to study in South Korea.
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 15th, TOrganized by Kyungdong University - South KoreaScholarships were awarded to 26 high school students in Nghe An province.
The scholarship awarding ceremony was attended by leaders from the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. John Kyu Lee - President of Kyungdong University - South Korea, and the principals of 17 high schools in the province.
The Kyungdong University Scholarship program, launched in 2015, is exclusively for Vietnamese students. Its main purpose is to provide students with access to one of the world's most modern and advanced education systems. The program has been implemented in eight provinces, and over the years, hundreds of students have been awarded scholarships to study in South Korea.

To win a scholarship to Kyungdong University in South Korea, students had to go through four rounds of testing: an English or Korean language test, a math test, an essay writing test, and a direct interview with the judging panel.
Out of hundreds of applicants, in 2015, Kyungdong University awarded 26 scholarships to students from Nghe An province with a total value of over 12 billion VND, including 22 students receiving 50% scholarships and 4 students receiving 70% scholarships for 4 years of specialized study.

In addition to awarding scholarships, Kyungdong University in South Korea will continue its projects for exchanging English and Korean language teachers, as well as cultural exchange programs for students and teachers.
