A package from the Netherlands and Belgium to Vietnam via express delivery was discovered by authorities to contain more than 9kg of suspected synthetic drugs.

On the afternoon of April 20, the Express Delivery Customs Branch (Hanoi Customs Department) coordinated with functional units to inspect and unseal a package of nearly 13 kg imported from the Netherlands and Belgium to Vietnam via express delivery.This item was sent to a woman in Le Chan, Hai Phong city.
During the screening process, authorities discoveredInside the luggage were boxes of cakes, candies and 5 large purple bags. Opening the bags, inside were thousands of pink heart-shaped tablets, suspected to be synthetic drugs. Weighed and checked, the total of 26,860 tablets weighed 9.35 kg.
The package suspected of containing synthetic drugs was detained and samples were taken for testing.
