The contest aims to contribute to improving the effectiveness of class activities, organizing educational activities and promoting emulation movements in high schools and vocational schools.

On the morning of March 10, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony.Competition for excellent homeroom teachersProvincial high school and vocational education in 2025.

This year's contest is held with the theme: Innovating methods of organizing educational activities, creatively applying measures in schools to contribute to improving the quality of homeroom teaching and assessment according to students' capacity development. This is also the goal and key task of educational innovation according to Resolution No. 29 of the Party Central Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest welcomed 294 excellent teachers selected from the basic round. At the same time, he affirmed that the contest is a meaningful activity to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the whole industry.

Thereby, to discover, recognize and honor teachers who have achieved the title of Excellent Class Teacher of the province at high school and vocational education levels and to replicate advanced models in student education, contributing to promoting the development of local and industry-wide education.

In his speech, the Director of the Department of Education and Training also emphasized the role of homeroom teachers in the current context and affirmed that homeroom teachers are the ones who connect social forces; are the bridge between students and principals, and are responsible to the principal for the quality of the classroom. Homeroom teachers are also the ones who connect parents with the school; coordinate with other forces to educate soft skills for students, helping them develop comprehensively.

The head of the Department of Education and Training also shared the difficulties of homeroom teachers in the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Program, especially in arranging and coordinating, integrating experiential hours and in approaching students and families...

With this special nature, comrade Thai Van Thanh hopes that the organization of the contest will motivate each teacher to strive, improve themselves, meet the requirements of innovation, improve the quality of education, and develop their careers. Thereby, it aims to contribute to improving the effectiveness of class hours, organizing educational activities and promoting emulation movements in high schools and continuing education; encouraging, motivating, creating opportunities for teachers to practice, self-study, be creative, learn, exchange, convey, and disseminate experiences in the work of head teachers at high schools and continuing education.

Through this, the Department of Education and Training also requested the Education Trade Union and specialized departments to organize workshops for homeroom teachers to share experiences and increase support between the highlands and lowlands. In addition, the Organizing Committee was also requested to be impartial and objective in the process of implementing the contest to help teachers stay calm and confident in completing their best performance.

According to the plan, the contest will be held for nearly 2 weeks from March 10 to 22 at Cua Lo 1 High School, Cua Lo 2 High School, Nghi Loc 3 High School and the Provincial Continuing Education Center. According to the regulations, each teacher participating in the contest must go through 2 contents: Presenting 1 measure to contribute to improving the quality of class management work and Practicing 1 period of organizing educational activities.
