The program is organized by the Provincial Children's Fund in collaboration with Vinh International Hospital and a team of doctors and Cardiology specialists from Hoan My Da Nang Hospital to screen and prescribe surgery for children with various types of disabilities: Heart, eyes, cleft lip and palate, Delta muscle fibrosis and other types of motor organ disabilities...

This time, the team assigned surgery to 91/3,000 children screened, including: 24 children with congenital heart disease, 38 children with eye diseases, 15 children with cleft lip and palate, and 14 children with motor disabilities.

In addition to screening at the district health center, the medical team went to a number of kindergartens in mountainous and difficult communes to examine young children.

This is the third screening examination for surgery for disabled children in 2017. The list of children indicated for surgery will be compiled by the Provincial Children's Fund, and the profile will be guided to call on benefactors to support free surgery costs. The surgery is expected to take place at the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018.
