3 players leaving Song Lam Nghe An have found new destinations

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, after the 2023/24 season ended, the three players born in 1999, Van Lam, Van Viet, and Sy Hoang, all had their contracts with Song Lam Nghe An end, and the club agreed to terminate their contracts and leave on free transfers.

These 3 players have been sought after by several V-League clubs. After negotiations between the two sides, Van Lam, Van Viet, and Mai Sy Hoang have made their final decisions on their new destinations in their careers.

Specifically, Van Lam has decided to join Quang Nam Club; Sy Hoang will join Song Lam Nghe An's neighboring team, Hong Linh Ha Tinh; and midfielder Van Viet will join Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club (the team will compete in the National First Division 2024/25).

Currently all 3 are rushing to prepare to go to the new club.

Leaving his hometown team, Van Lam shared: "I am very sad to say goodbye to Song Lam Nghe An. This place has given me many beautiful memories, given me the opportunity to play top-level football. However, a player's career is not long, so I have to find a new destination for a better future. I would like to thank the fans, spectators, leaders, and coaching staff of the club for always trusting and giving me opportunities. I will try my best in training, competing, and living to always maintain the identity of a Nghe An player."

After the above 3 players have finished their contracts, in the near future, Song Lam Nghe An is expected to continue to promote players from the youth team to join the first team, to help them gain more experience when competing in a top football environment. This is also a strategy to help Song Lam Nghe An create a solid foundation for the following seasons.

Defender Nguyen Mai Hoang; midfielder Nguyen Trong Tuan, Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung, striker Phung Van Nam... are players with a good chance of being promoted to the first team of Song Lam Nghe An by coach Pham Anh Tuan to prepare for the 2024/25 season.
