These are the most typical projects selected from many schools across the province. This year's selection has many new points as Nghe An does not organize competitions at the grassroots and provincial levels.

Nghe An Department of Education and Training has found the 3 best projects to participate in the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year. These projects were all carried out by high school students.

These are the projects: Research and construction of a virtual traditional room website in the field of: Embedded systems by the author group: Ngo Tran Bach and Nguyen Tai, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

Project: CodeDRG software to support teaching and learning programming at high schools belongs to the field: System software by author: Cao Vo Long, Le Viet Thuat High School.

Project: Multi-purpose fine dust filter using adhesion and centrifugal technology in the field of Mechanical Engineering by the author group: Tran Duc Manh and Le Nam Truong, Le Viet Thuat High School.

In addition to the 3 projects with excellent results, the Department of Education and Training also recognized 70 other projects with good results in the evaluation and selection of projects to participate in the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year.

Science and Technology Competitionfor high school students has been organized by Nghe An education sector for many years. The implementation of the contest is considered one of the core activities that promote fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training towards developing students' qualities and abilities.

However, this school year, Nghe An education sector will not organize a regular science and technology competition as in previous years. Instead, educational institutions with completed projects will send their documents to the Department for project evaluation and selection to compete in the national science and technology competition. After more than 1 month of implementation, the whole province has 86 projects submitted to compete at the national level.

As planned, the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, will take place over 3 days, from March 19-21.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's competition has the participation of 62/63 departments of education and training and 12 units of universities, colleges, institutes, research institutes, high schools; high schools under the Ministry and ministerial-level agencies with 212 projects. Of which, there are 23 individual projects, 189 collective projects; 190 projects of high school students and 22 projects of middle school students.

This year's competition projects are in 22 fields including: Animal Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Biochemistry, Biomedical and Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Embedded Systems, Chemical Energy, Physical Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics and Astronomy, Plant Science, Robotics and Intelligent Machines, Systems Software, Translational Medicine.

From the competition results, the Ministry of Education and Training will select the projects that win the highest prizes and are qualified to participate in the International Science and Technology Competition for high school students scheduled to take place in May 2025 in the United States.
