Three students were electrocuted while retrieving kites that had become entangled in 110kV power lines.
Three students in Dien Chau district were electrocuted while trying to retrieve a kite that had become entangled in a 110kV high-voltage power line. The incident resulted in two of them suffering severe burns and being rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to reports, at approximately 1 PM on June 12th, a group of students were flying kites in the shrimp farming area of the commune. When one kite became entangled in a 110kV high-voltage power line, three students, TBD (13 years old), THD (15 years old), and NTA (13 years old), all residing in Dien Van commune, Dien Chau district, attempted to retrieve it but were electrocuted and fell to the ground.

Upon discovering the incident, local residents took the children to the commune's health station for first aid. Two children with severe burns were transferred to a provincial hospital, while the other sustained minor injuries.
