While playing, Nguyen Thi Thuy slipped and fell into the lake. None of her classmates knew how to swim, and the lake was very deep, so they ran to find local residents to help. However, by the time some people arrived and pulled Thuy out of the water, she had already drowned. On April 25th, local authorities and the school's administration visited Thuy's family to offer condolences and support.
