Golden pomfret meat contains many nutrients, likened to ginseng under the sea because of the wonderful effects it brings to the liver, kidneys and especially the health of postpartum women.

The golden pomfret has sparkling golden scales, which is where the name Golden Pomfret comes from.

The Golden Croaker is quite large in size, an adult fish can weigh up to several dozen to more than 100kg, with a length of about 160cm, with the selling price of an adult fish being up to several billion VND. This fish species is quite easy to identify because they possess beautiful bright yellow fins and a funny hump on their head.
