3 rare mistakes that can cause candidates to lose points on the 2018 National High School Exam

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, in reality, about 1% of the total number of candidates make mistakes that affect the scoring process of the national high school multiple choice exam, affecting their exam scores.

Candidates need to avoid unfortunate mistakes to avoid losing points in the national high school exam.

Before the 2018 National High School Exam, the Ministry of Education and Training also noted that candidates should be careful to avoid making mistakes such as:

- Do not fill in the registration number (SBD); filling in the wrong number will result in duplicate numbers, filling in a non-existent number, or filling in the wrong format, causing the test scoring software to not recognize it. In the worst case, a candidate who took the exam mistakenly filled in the SBD of an absent candidate.

- Not filling in the exam code, filling in a non-existent exam code, or filling in the wrong way so that it is impossible to identify which exam code the candidate used.

- The answer is too faint or erased to the point that it is unclear which option the candidate chose, or the answer is filled in a question area that does not exist.

These errors will result in the test not being graded, affecting the rights of the candidates.

In this case, the software of the Ministry of Education and Training must detect all errors, and the examiner must correct all errors in order to automatically grade the test. The correction results are also saved, along with the correction report to report to the Ministry of Education and Training.

Therefore, candidates need to pay attention to avoid affecting their rights and limit difficulties in the exam marking process.
