The rescued person was Ms. Pham Thi Soa, 36 years old, pregnant for the third time, 41 weeks pregnant, in hamlet 1, Hanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.
Ms. Soa was admitted to the hospital on August 21. On the evening of August 26, Ms. Soa went into labor and gave birth naturally to a son. A few minutes after giving birth, Ms. Soa unfortunately suffered an obstetrical complication of acute blood loss due to uterine atony hemorrhage. The mother's life was in serious danger.
