3 women specialize in forging health certificates from hospitals in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Fake health certificates from many hospitals in the province are secretly sold by criminals for 40,000 - 80,000 VND/certificate, at kiosks and stationery stores.
On the afternoon of November 30, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Cuong - Deputy Chief of Vinh City Police, said that the Investigation Police Department had just arrested 3 subjects who had forged health certificates from many hospitals in the province to sell to those in need.
“These subjects have been operating for many years with extremely sophisticated methods. Each paper is sold for 40-80 thousand dong,” Lieutenant Colonel Cuong added.

Previously, in Vinh City, many health certificates from hospitals such as Cua Dong Hospital, Thai An Hospital, Giao Thong Hospital, etc. appeared to be fake. These health certificates were sold secretly at kiosks and some stationery stores in the area.
The making, selling and use of these fake health certificates have seriously affected the reputation and legitimate interests of medical facilities and medical staff, indirectly causing serious consequences for society when unqualified people use these types of papers to obtain driver's licenses, practice certificates, etc.
Faced with that situation, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police assigned the responsibility to Vinh City Police to concentrate maximum force, synchronously use professional measures to fight, arrest, and strictly handle subjects with criminal acts. In early November 2019, Vinh City Police established Project 1119G to focus on investigating and solving the case.
On November 28, 2019, the Investigation Committee conducted an emergency search and detention of three subjects, including: Le Thi Bich (commonly known as Van, born in 1954, residing in Ngoc Lam ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi), Truong Thi Tinh (born in 1963, residing in Trung Nghia block, Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city) and Phan Thi Thanh (born in 1963, residing in block 5, Quan Bau ward, Vinh city) for the act of "Forgery of seals and documents of agencies and organizations".
Searching the suspects' residences, the Task Force seized 210 fake health certificates from Cua Dong Hospital and Thai An Hospital; 9 fake seals of various types; 4 mobile phones and many other documents and objects.
The case is currently under further investigation.
