The accident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on February 25 on the Vinh City bypass, passing through Hung Dao commune (Hung Nguyen district).

When going to Vinh City bypass, Hung Dao commune (Hung Nguyen), it collided with a truck driven by Pham Viet Cuong (45 years old, residing in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city) going in the opposite direction.

At the same time, a 16-seat passenger van with license plate 37B-018.12 driven by Nguyen Quoc Hung (27 years old, residing in Le Loi ward, Vinh city) behind was so surprised that it crashed into the side of the truck.

The strong impact caused the sleeper bus to flip over into the field. The truck and the 16-seat vehicle were both severely damaged. At the time of the accident, there were 20 passengers on the sleeper bus and 8 on the 16-seat vehicle.
