30 people brought swords into the hospital to kill their opponents

After stabbing and slashing his opponent, forcing him to go to the emergency room, Nam led 30 young men armed with swords and knives to rush into the hospital and kill the doctors and nurses, causing them to flee.

On the afternoon of January 25, Colonel Pham Huu Tan, Head of the Quang Binh Criminal Police Department, said that he had just prosecuted 9 people in the case of using swords to attack each other, leaving one person dead and 3 injured.

At midnight a month ago, due to a business conflict between two passenger transport companies, in Nam Ly ward, Dong Hoi city, Do Duc Nam (32 years old) led 30 young men armed with swords to fight with Tran Hung Cuong's group (37 years old, residing in Nam Ly ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh).

The two sides rushed to kill each other, causing chaos in the area. When the opposing group ran away, Nam chased them in his car and continued to stab many people.

Seeing his opponent, Tran Hung Cuong, injured and admitted to the Vietnam Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi for emergency treatment, Nam led 30 people into the hospital and chased him down. The group shouted "kill", brandished swords, and threw bricks and stones, causing Cuong and the doctors to panic and run away.

When the police arrived, Nam's group left. Due to severe injuries, Cuong died.

After a month of investigation, the authorities summoned 30 people to clarify the case. Of the 9 people prosecuted, 4 were investigated for 2 acts: Murder and Disturbing public order, the remaining 5 were investigated for disturbing the peace.

Authorities also seized many exhibits, including 7 swords, 3 machete-like knives, a knife, 9 metal bars and many other weapons./.
