Compared to the previous Children's Art Awards, although the number of paintings decreased, the quality of the paintings was higher because the Department of Education and Training and schools organized a preliminary round before submitting the paintings. Many paintings by children clearly expressed their thinking about the content, feelings about art, about life, emotions, and living environment through innocent, pure, rustic but very lively drawings, with many unique and impressive compositions and colors, creating many emotions for viewers.
