(Baonghean.vn) - After three days of lively events, the 20th Nghe An Television and Radio Festival – 2015 concluded on the afternoon of September 28th, with awards presented to outstanding works.
Attending the event were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ba Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department; along with other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives from several relevant departments and agencies.

This year's Nghe An Radio and Television Festival featured 87 television works and 85 radio works from departments of the provincial station and 20 district and sectoral radio and television stations. After the preliminary judging round, the jury selected 56 television works and 54 radio works for the final judging round. After three days of diligent work, the organizing committee selected 8 outstanding works to award Gold prizes, including 4 television works and 4 radio works; 22 works received Silver prizes, including 12 television works and 10 radio works; and 28 works received Encouragement prizes.

This year's entries were quite elaborate, demonstrating dedication and responsibility to the profession. They have depicted the basic features of the socio-economic, defense, and Party and government building landscape of Nghe An over the past year, as well as exemplary figures in the patriotic emulation movement…

A new feature of this year's festival was the "NTV Moments" photo contest. Out of nearly 200 entries, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the team of authors Van Nhan, Thuy Linh, and Hoang Quyen for their series of photos "Returning to the Origins of the Revolution," along with four second-prize winners and six third-prize winners.
The closing ceremony also honored directors and cinematographers with impressive visuals and effective editing techniques, as well as presenters with excellent voiceovers. The sectors of Transportation, Education and Training, Agriculture and Rural Development, Health, Culture, Sports and Tourism also awarded prizes for outstanding works written about their respective fields.
