30 candidates compete at Nghe An Province Vocational Skills Competition 2023

This year's Provincial Vocational Skills Competition took place from May 8 to 11 at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, with the participation of 30 outstanding candidates selected from 11 colleges and vocational secondary schools in the province.

Candidates compete in 6 professions, including: Welding, Automotive Technology, Electrical Installation, Refrigeration, Fashion Technology and Culinary Arts.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Ho Thi Chau Loan - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs said: Nghe An Province Vocational Skills Competition is a professional activity held every two years, aiming to find and honor highly skilled students, good teachers; promote the emulation movement of learning and practicing skills at vocational training institutions.

In addition, through the Exam, excellent candidates will be selected to continue training and fostering to participate in the National Vocational Skills Exam in 2023.

According to Ms. Ho Thi Chau Loan, the highlight of this year's exam organization is that the exam questions for each profession approach the level and standards of the National Vocational Skills Exam; the competing professions are conducted on modern equipment, creating opportunities for candidates to experience and master technology to be confident in their future career path.

The jury consists of qualified and competent lecturers from Vinh University of Technical Education and experts who are directors, engineers, and senior technical supervisors of large companies and enterprises in the province.

The contest is expected to end and award prizes on May 11./.
