The image of 33 lightning bolts striking an Australian city recently looked like a scene from a supernatural movie.

The highly charged clouds were filmed near Kangeroo Point as they headed out to sea, Mirror reported on November 2. Photographer Matthew Drinkall captured 33 individual lightning bolts as they struck Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and put them all together in one frame.

The prolonged hot summer is likely to bring more powerful thunderstorms in the coming months, according to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.
