(Baonghean.vn) - After finishing the qualifying round of the U23 Asian Cup, the Vietnam Olympic team has gathered all the necessary forces to complete the preparation for the 19th ASIAD. In this list, there are 4 players from the Song Lam Nghe An club.
Today (September 13), the Vietnam Olympic team was added 12 players who had just finished the qualifying round of the U23 Asian Cup, thereby increasing the number of players in training to 24.
The players added to the Vietnam Olympic team include goalkeeper Cao Van Binh, Doan Huy Hoang, defenders Phan Tuan Tai, Nguyen Hong Phuc, Nguyen Duc Anh, Vo Minh Trong, midfielders Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Duc Phu, Nguyen Thai Son, Nguyen Dinh Bac, strikers Nguyen Thanh Nhan and Bui Vi Hao.
In the list of 24 players of the Vietnam Olympic team, the ClubLam River Nghe An4 names are present: goalkeeper Cao Van Binh, defender Le Nguyen Hoang, 2 midfielders Dinh Xuan Tien and Tran Nam Hai.
Notably, goalkeeper Cao Van Binh is the only player who has just returned to Vietnam U23 to compete in the U23 Asia qualifiers, while the other three players Xuan Tien, Nguyen Hoang and Nam Hai have been training with the Vietnam Olympic team since September 7. Goalkeeper Van Binh was also given the opportunity to start in the match against Singapore U23 last night (September 12) by coach Philippe Troussier.

The teams will compete in a round-robin format to determine rankings in each group. The top two teams in each group and the four best third-placed teams in the six groups will advance to the round of 16.
The group stage matches will take place from September 19 to September 24. The Round of 16 will take place on September 26 and 27. The quarter-finals will be held on September 30. The semi-finals will take place on October 3. The Bronze and Gold Medal matches will take place on October 7./.
