The Provincial People's Council selected four areas closely related to daily life for questioning.
(Baonghean.vn) - This was the content presented at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the morning of December 8th to discuss and agree on the questions to be raised at the 15th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council, term 2011-2016.
Comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council - chaired the meeting. Also attending were Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Based on a review of issues raised during previous sessions since the beginning of the term that have not seen positive progress; and considering the proposals of the Standing Committee and various committees, the provincial People's Council representatives, as well as the opinions and recommendations of voters in the province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council has projected 15 issues in 4 areas: economy; culture and society; transportation; and ethnic minorities and mountainous regions, to be selected for questioning.
These are all issues that are closely related to the daily lives of the people.

| According to Thai Thi An Chung, Deputy Head of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, it is necessary to question the environmental pollution issues in industrial parks and production facilities, which, despite numerous recommendations, have been slow to be thoroughly addressed, including rural environmental pollution. |
At the meeting, delegates focused their discussions and agreed on four key issues that will be raised for direct questioning at this session.
These include: food safety and hygiene; environmental pollution; the surplus of teachers in education; and the unfinished implementation of resettlement projects to prevent landslides under Decision 33, which are affecting people's lives.
The remaining 15 issues raised by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council require the Provincial People's Committee to submit written reports to the Provincial People's Council delegates for their review and understanding of the situation.

Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council discussed the format and method of organizing the question-and-answer session at this meeting. Accordingly, the question-and-answer session at this meeting will be reformed.
In addition to questioning the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments on the four key issues selected for questioning, provincial People's Council representatives can also question the departments about the results of handling the issues raised at previous sessions from the beginning of the term to the present.
