In the recent national high school exam marking sessions, the Ministry of Education and Training has collected statistics from the multiple-choice test marking councils that about 1% of candidates made very basic and unnecessary mistakes in their exams and could easily lose points or have their exams classified as "suspicious".

Specifically, these are the errors that the Examination Council had to correct such as:

The first,Not filling in the registration number (SBD), filling in the wrong SBD leading to duplicate SBD, filling in a non-existent SBD or filling in incorrectly leading to unidentifiable SBD. The worst case scenario is that a candidate who took the exam mistakenly filled in the SBD of an absent candidate.

Monday,Not filling in the exam code, filling in a non-existent exam code, or filling in the wrong way so that it is impossible to identify which exam code the candidate used.

Tuesday,The answer is so blurred or erased that it is unclear which option the candidate chose, or the answer is filled in a question area that does not exist.

Wednesday,There are errors due to scanning such as folding the TLTN Form, wrong side of the Form, causing the Form to be deformed.

The leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training said that these errors (if any) will lead to the test not being graded, affecting the rights of the candidates, even though there are errors caused by the candidates themselves. The software must detect all errors, the examiners must correct all errors to be able to grade the test automatically. The correction results must be saved, along with the correction report to report to the Ministry of Education and Training.

For essay test marking, according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, examination councils arrange for the first and second marking officers to sit in two different marking rooms.

Each essay test is graded independently by two examiners. The first examiner grades on an individual grading sheet; the second examiner grades on the test and records the score on the grading sheet.

Before handing over the papers that have been graded in two independent rounds to the two examiners for unified scoring, the test scores on the second-round score sheet of the examiner must be compared with the scores on the first-round individual score sheet of the examiner, detecting cases of differences of 0.5 points or more to monitor, determine the cause and the unified handling results of the two examiners to prevent errors and violations of the Examination Regulations.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training requires that examination councils thoroughly instruct CBChT not to correct scores on marking sheets, score sheets and on test papers during the scoring process.

The Ministry of Education and Training will strictly handle any papers that violate the Examination Regulations or officers who do not comply with the Examination Regulations; and will address any leniency or omission of errors in the candidates' papers, leading to grading results that do not accurately reflect the reality.

To check the accuracy of computer-based test scoring and avoid errors in the return and scoring stages, the Test Scoring Board randomly matches at least 20% of the essay tests.
