With prices ranging from 13 to a maximum of 18 million VND, the four models below are the most affordable products from four popular motorcycle brands currently available in Vietnam.
4. Yamaha Sirius: 18.1 million VND
Previously, the Sirius wasn't the cheapest Yamaha motorcycle in the Vietnamese market. But since the Japanese manufacturer stopped producing the Taurus model in 2013, the Sirius (with drum brakes) has become the "cheapest champion" among Yamaha-branded motorcycles.

Launched in the Vietnamese market in 1999, Yamaha's Sirius scooter has won the hearts of consumers of all ages. The Sirius can be considered one of the main competitors to Honda's Wave series in the Vietnamese market.
The Sirius uses a 110cc, 4-stroke, 2-valve SOHC, air-cooled engine, delivering 6.6 kW of power at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 9 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The engine used in the Sirius has been fine-tuned by Yamaha to improve performance, fuel efficiency, and reduce emissions.
The suggested retail price of Sirius at the moment is 18.1 million VND.
3. Honda Wave Alpha: 16.9 million VND
In 2002, when the market was being dominated by low-cost Chinese motorcycles, the first Wave Alpha was launched at a price of 10,990,000 VND. A motorcycle with high quality, a reputable brand, high durability, and a low price at that time successfully pushed the Chinese motorcycles out of the Vietnamese market.
In 2014, the Wave Alpha remained the top-selling model in Honda's Wave product line, with 296,289 units delivered to customers.

The bike has a simple decal design, spoke wheels, mechanical brakes, and also uses a 100cc engine, but with greater power than the Super Dream, specifically a maximum power of 5.1kW/8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.0 Nm/5,500 rpm.
The Wave α is Honda Vietnam's cheapest model, with a post-tax price of 16.9 million VND.
2. Suzuki Revo: 15.7 million VND
Revo boasts a sleek, sporty design, perfect for active young people, both male and female.
This model is equipped with a 109cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, delivering a maximum power of 6.8 kW at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The gearbox is designed with advanced technology, ensuring smooth gear changes.
The suggested retail price for the Revo starts at 15.3 million VND. This is also the lowest-priced model in Suzuki's product lineup at the moment.
1. SYM ElegantSR: 13.2 million VND
SYM is a motorcycle brand with many affordable products on the Vietnamese market, but the ElegantSR is the cheapest model from this brand, with a post-tax price of 13.2 million VND for the drum brake version and 14.2 million VND for the disc brake version.
