When choosing Vietnamese photographers living abroad, couples will not encounter many problems in communication, travel, photo shoot locations...
The 4 photographers below are not only loved by Vietnamese couples but also by many local couples.
1. Pham Viet Dung - handsome 8X guy taking wedding photos in Malaysia
Photographer Pham Viet Dung was born in 1988 in Hanoi. Dung loves and deeply studies many art forms such as music, painting and photography. Starting his career with wedding photos for relatives and friends in a natural style, capturing emotions, the name Viet Dung gradually became familiar to couples about to get married in Hanoi. In 2014, when he had a busy photo shoot schedule all over the country and abroad, Viet Dung decided to "leave" to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to study photography in depth. Here, the Hanoi boy nurtured his passion with knowledge and lessons about photography from veteran experts.
Because he "missed the profession" and to make ends meet for his life away from home, Dung took on wedding photography jobs in Malaysia and Singapore. He received support from many Vietnamese and local customers, and many Vietnamese couples even flew to Malaysia to take Dung's wedding photos. The photo shoot service in Malaysia attracts many Vietnamese couples because Dung provides everything from A to Z including dresses, fresh flowers, makeup, albums, photo enlargements...

"The form of wedding photography combined with travel is popular with many young people. In addition, because we are living here, the bride and groom do not have to pay for airfare or accommodation for the photography crew like with normal foreign photography packages," Dung said.
The photographer shared more experience: “The biggest difficulty when taking wedding photos abroad is that the bride and groom have to walk a lot because the photo locations are quite far apart. Without many friends to help, many couples drag their suitcases to take photos, change their own clothes and prepare their own food and drinks, but in return, they will have a photo session full of memorable memories,” Dung shared.
With its geographical location close to Vietnam and easy access, Kuala Lumpur has many unique architectural works, blending Eastern and Western styles, and most of these locations do not charge a fee for taking photos. Besides the famous Petronas Twin Towers, couples can take photos at famous tourist attractions such as Merdeka Independence Square, National Textile Museum, Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, National Library, Istana Budaya Theater, Muzium Negara Museum, Istana Negara Royal Palace...
2. Le Nguyen Viet Phuong - Vietnamese photographer in America
Known by his stage name Nino, the 8X Saigon guy got acquainted with the camera lens since high school with showbiz-related projects such as taking album photos for singers Quang Vinh, Luong Bich Huu, Dong Nhi, Ong Cao Thang, Nguyen Quynh Anh... When he first arrived, Phuong spent most of his time exploring and searching for beautiful and unique photo locations and how to move between locations to save time and money. In addition, he also collaborated with a number of freelance makeup artists and wedding dress shops to provide the most perfect service to customers. Phuong's wedding photos have a "Western" color and style. For Phuong, wedding photos do not need majestic mountains or elaborate dresses, but need simplicity, harmony and the "love" of the bride and groom.

Ninh's most memorable memory was taking wedding photos for a Vietnamese wife and French husband in Paris. “Paris is a beautiful and splendid city. The difficulty for photographers is how to capture Paris in a photo that still retains its romantic, nostalgic look, while also highlighting the love of the bride and groom,” Quang Ninh shared.
According to the photographer, spring, summer (April - July) and autumn (September - November) are the most suitable times for wedding photography because the weather is not too cold and there is a lot of sunshine. In July, the endless lavender fields in the South of France are also loved by many couples.

To avoid duplication and following the beaten path of other studios in Australia, Quoc Hung once traveled nearly 300 km around the city to find beautiful, unique, wide-view and little-known photo locations. Some of Hung's favorite photo locations are:Sorrento Mountains, Yarra Valley, Macedon and Kyneton Mountains...The main means of transportation during photo shoots are cars, taxis or buses.
“Usually, Vietnamese customers often request wedding albums with a strong Australian feel with famous landmarks. Australian customers want a photo album with a rustic country feel. Therefore, depending on each couple’s preferences, I will advise on suitable photo shoot locations,” Quoc Hung shared.

To get the best wedding photos, this young man from Saigon often creates a fun, intimate atmosphere for the bride and groom to pose comfortably and without awkwardness. Among his clients, Quoc Hung remembers the couple who booked the photo shoot nearly 2 years in advance for a "long" wedding photo shoot capturing the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter in the land of kangaroos. The couple wore hot bikinis in the summer, took photos in the middle of white snow in the winter, yellow leaves falling in the fall and in the middle of a cherry blossom garden in the spring.
