4 mistakes to avoid when washing your car with a high pressure washer

1. Spray the car with high water pressure when you first start washing.

Many people who use high pressure washers often adjust the water pressure to high right from the first step, they think that the stronger the water pressure, the better, it cleans the car better and saves time... 2. Using the wrong spray nozzle

The 15 - 40-degree nozzle has a gradually decreasing spray force, the water jet is in the form of a beam, so it is suitable for spraying in areas with large surfaces, with less sticky stains...

3. Wash the car while the engine is still hot

Many users clean their vehicles immediately after turning off the engine, which is absolutely not recommended. After running a long distance, the engine will be very hot, if you immediately wash the vehicle with a high-pressure washer, the temperature will change suddenly, damaging the engine, deforming the frame; even causing internal breaks in the machine parts.

So, after stopping the car, let it cool for about 10 - 15 minutes before starting to spray and wash the car.

4. Spray water directly into the exhaust pipe vent, spark plug, and electrical connections.

Many people accidentally spray water directly on parts such as exhaust pipes and spark plugs while washing their cars, which can lead to rust and even cause the car to stop working.

For the engine compartment, after opening the hood, many people subjectively use a high-pressure washer to spray hard on the stains, this is a complete mistake. Water entering the electrical connections can lead to electrical short circuits, electrical fires, and can even "kill" the engine...

According to experts, you should use waterproof tape to cover electrical connections, use plastic to cover the exhaust pipe and spark plugs, and then start cleaning.
