400 books given to students in border areas on Vietnam Book Day
(Baonghean.vn) - The book festival at the border attracted a large number of students, border guards, and local people to participate, strongly spreading the reading movement in the community.
On April 9-10, Nghe An Border Guard Command coordinated with the Provincial Library to organize the 6th Vietnam Book Day in Con Cuong district.

The Border Book Festival was held at the Mobile Training Battalion (d19) of Nghe An Border Guard, 2 Primary and Secondary Schools in Mon Son Commune, Con Cuong District.
Within the framework of the program, officers and soldiers of the Mobile Training Battalion and students of Mon Son Primary and Secondary School had the opportunity to read books through the mobile book cart of the Provincial Library. On this occasion, the Provincial Library presented 400 books of various types to the unit and 2 schools.

This activity aims to promote the meaningful purpose of Vietnam Book Day, calling on the community to raise awareness and responsibility so that the reading movement can spread more and more; aiming towards a learning society and lifelong learning. At the same time, it promotes and introduces books about important anniversaries and political events of the Party, the State, as well as Nghe An province to cadres, soldiers, cadres, people and students in the border area.
