400 members clean up Dien Thanh beach
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 24, Dien Chau District Youth Union organized a campaign to collect trash at Dien Thanh beach to prepare for the upcoming tourist season.
Dien Thanh Beach is a famous tourist destination in Dien Chau district. However, in recent times, this place has been frequently flooded with marine trash. From sea duckweed, plastic bags, plastic bottles to industrial waste, household waste... are all carelessly dumped by people on this tourist beach.

On the morning of April 24, more than 400 youth union members from 20 communes of Dien Chau district gathered at Dien Thanh beach to collect trash, and also mobilized excavators to process and bury the trash. It is known that this is the 4th trash collection since the beginning of 2018 on this 1.2km long beach.
Mr. Le Viet Dung - Secretary of Dien Chau District Youth Union shared: This is an important activity to help Dien Thanh beach become cleaner and fresher, besides, it will contribute to attracting visitors during the tourist season, especially the upcoming April 30 - May 1 holiday. In the coming time, we will continue to clean up tourist spots as well as increase propaganda to raise people's awareness about the problem of littering.
