44 young people participated in the skilled worker competition in the mechanical engineering industry.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 15th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Labor Union and Vinh University of Technology and Education, held the closing ceremony of the Skilled Workers Competition in Mechanical Engineering for Young People.

Attending the closing ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, along with representatives from the Provincial Labor Union.

Based on the guidelines of the Organizing Committee of the competition, the participating units conducted preliminary selections at the grassroots level to choose the most outstanding contestants to participate in the provincial-level competition.

Second prizes were awarded to the winning contestants.

The Organizing Committee has selected 44 qualified contestants from 10 teams across the province. The quality of contestants this year is considered higher than in previous years.

First prize was awarded to the two most outstanding contestants in the competition.

Besides the successes, this year's competition also had some limitations. The participating units were not evenly matched; some units did not send any contestants; some contestants had weak skills; and some units did not organize training for their teams to participate in the competition.

Awards were presented to the teams that achieved outstanding results in the competition.

After two days of exciting competition, the organizing committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 9 consolation prizes.
