49 products were awarded at the Creativity Contest for Youth and Children in Nghe An Province

On the afternoon of July 2, the Union of Science and Technology Associations held the 15th Anniversary of the Nghe An Province Youth, Adolescents and Children's Creativity Contest and awarded prizes for the 2020 contest - launching the 2021 contest.

The Nghe An Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest has been held since 2005 for youth and children aged 6-19.
Over the past 15 years, the competition has attracted thousands of models and products to participate, and the number of applications for the competition each year is always higher than the previous year. The organizing committee has also selected 56 models/products to compete nationwide and won many high prizes.

In the 2020 contest alone, the Organizing Committee received 125 entries in 5 areas: learning tools, computer software, environmentally friendly products, household appliances and children's toys, technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy.
This year's product models are all highly practical topics, demonstrating the creativity and passion for science of many students.
The results of the competition showed that many students really have the qualities and abilities in scientific research.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, coordinating units and especially the efforts of the schools.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that this is a healthy playground to arouse the potential and promote the creative thinking of youth and children in the whole province.
Thereby, helping children to improve their knowledge, practice creative skills, and build their dreams of becoming future inventors.

On the part of the Union of Science and Technology Associations, it is necessary to research and advise the province on ways to honor teachers whose students have achieved high results.
In addition, coordinate the selection, guidance, and introduction of quality models and products to receive support and investment from sponsors, businesses, and state projects for application in production life.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Special Prize, 3 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes, 30 Encouragement Prizes and Collective Prizes to the winning projects. Outstanding projects that won 3rd prize or higher will also be selected to participate in the National Youth, Adolescent and Children's Creativity Competition scheduled to be held in Hanoi in October 2020.
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the competition, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 individuals with many achievements in guiding students to win high prizes in the 15th National Youth, Adolescent and Children's Creativity Competition in 2019.
In addition, many other groups and individuals were also awarded for their contributions during 15 years of participating in the competition.
