1. Characteristics of ginseng
Sâm cau is also known as ngai cau, tien mao. Scientific name Curculigo orchioides Gaertn. Belongs to the Hypoxidaceae family. Sâm cau is a type of grass 40cm or more tall, with long cylindrical underground stems. The leaves are narrowly lanceolate with pointed ends, 15-40cm long, 12-35mm wide, 10cm long petiole, looking similar to areca leaves.

In addition, people also use sâm cau to treat coughs, hemorrhoids, jaundice, loose stools, stomachaches, etc. Used externally, crushed and applied to scabies and ulcers.
Oral: Take 6-12g daily in decoction or alcohol.
3. Medicine with ginseng

- Cure rheumatism, cold back pain, nervous breakdown, impotence:Slice and roast 100g of ginseng, 10g of Chinese clematis root, 500ml of white wine. Soak for 7 days or more. Drink twice a day, before main meals, a small cup of about 25-30ml each time.
- Treatment of impotence due to functional neurological disorders:20g of ginseng, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 12g of Chinese clematis root, 8g of Chinese clematis root, and 8g of Chinese clematis root. Boil all of these in 1 liter of water until 300ml remains, divide into 2-3 doses to drink during the day, before meals.

- Internal hemorrhoids bleeding:20g of ginseng, 8g of codonopsis pilosula, 20g of scrophularia, 15g of roasted thuja, 20g of eclipta prostrata, 15g of rehmannia glutinosa, 8g of cimicifuga. Boil and drink in 2 doses, morning and evening, after meals.
