5 Song Lam Nghe An players were called up to prepare for the Southeast Asian U17 tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Tran Minh Chien has called up 36 qualified players for the U17 Southeast Asian tournament, including 5 players from Song Lam Nghe An club.
To prepare for the 2024 Southeast Asian U17 tournament, taking place in Indonesia, coach Tran Minh Chien has summoned 36 players. The whole team will gather on April 10, and officially start training from April 11 at the PVF Youth Football Training Center.
In this gathering, Song Lam Nghe An Club contributed 5 names including: goalkeeper Tran Van Dat, defender Tran Dong Thuc, defender Bach Trong Duong, midfielder Le Van Vuong, midfielder Le Tan Dung.
The entire team will be stationed and trained at the PVF Youth Football Training Center (Hung Yen) for 7 days, then move to the second phase with the next 8 days at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi).
Thus, in the first training period, the coaching staff of the National U17 Men's Team will have 16 days to work with the young players. During this training period, the coaching staff will check the physical fitness and review the strength of the players called up to the team before moving on to the next training period, expected in May, towards the 2024 Southeast Asian U17 tournament, taking place in Indonesia in June 2024.
