(Baonghean) - Currently, the Transport and Communications sector and localities in the province are focusing on accelerating the construction progress of 5 suspension bridges across the Lam River and Nam Mo River, including: Do Rong Bridge (Hung Son commune, Anh Son district), Do Muou Bridge (Boi Son commune, Do Luong district), Tan Thanh Hong Bridge (Nghia Hanh commune, Tan Ky district), Bai Oi Bridge (Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district) and Ban Coi Bridge (Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district), with a total investment of nearly 122 billion VND.
The goal is to complete and put into use the suspension bridges by May 30th (the Ban Coi suspension bridge has already been completed and put into use), contributing to ensuring traffic safety for people in riverside areas, especially during the rainy season. In addition, the Department of Transport is also investing in the construction of the Ben Muoi suspension bridge in Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district, with a total investment of over 30 billion VND.
