(Baonghean.vn) - When your car accidentally gets stuck in sand or sinks into a deep hole, stay calm and follow the simple method below to save your car.

1. Back the car slowly to get out of the hole.

In case the car wheel falls into the hole but still touches the bottom of the hole, there is a simple solution for drivers. At this time, drivers just need to choose to turn the steering wheel and slowly reverse the car to get out of the hole.

If the hole is not deep and the wheel is only slightly above the bottom of the hole, the driver can try to find a way to put a hard object such as a brick or wood under the wheel. This will act as a support point for the wheel. Once a suitable support point is found, try to turn the steering wheel and reverse the car slowly to get out of the hole.

2. Turn the steering wheel all the way so that the wheel rests on the edge of the hole.

If your car accidentally sinks into a hole and the hole is not too wide, there is a way to "pull" the car out of the hole without using any tools.

How to do it: The driver controls the steering wheel to turn the steering wheel all the way. When turning the steering wheel all the way, the wheel will rotate and rest on the edge of the hole. The hole now becomes the fulcrum for the wheel to take advantage of to grip. With the fulcrum being the edge of the hole, the driver only needs to start and press the accelerator hard so that the wheel can roll and escape the hole.

3. “Rescue” a car stuck in a hole with a wrench

Using a wrench connected to a long iron tube will give you the tool to get your car out of the hole.

By: opening the wheel rim, attaching the wrench to the screws on the wheel and then connecting the other end of the wrench to the tube (choose the tube when installing the wrench must be longer than the radius of the tire). Then, use a wire to fix the wrench - tube assembly to the spoke on the rim. The fixation is to ensure that this assembly does not move when the wheel moves - This support assembly will become the contact point of the wheel with the road surface to apply the force of the wheel rotation.

Once the steps are ready, the driver slowly presses the accelerator. The wheel spins, causing the support assembly to spin, and at the point of contact with the road surface, the rotational force of the wheel will help push the wheel out of the hole.

4. Use a jack to get the car out of the hole.

Most of the time when the wheel sinks into a hole, even if you try to accelerate, the wheel cannot move because of lack of support. Many experienced drivers recommend using a jack to solve this problem.

When the car sinks into a hole, the driver should observe how deep the hole is and how many centimeters the wheel is from the bottom of the hole. Then use a jack to lift the car body up and place bricks or other objects on it so that the car can use it as a support point.

When finished, lower and remove the jack; the driver gets in the car, starts it up, and presses the accelerator to move the wheels away from the edge of the hole.

5. Use a large wooden bar as a support point

One way to save a car from a pothole, especially a deep one like a sewer pipe, is to use a long piece of wood to support the car. This method is only suitable when the pothole is not too wide.

The vehicle is rescued by placing one end of the wooden beam under the drain. The body of the beam is inserted under the stuck wheel. A person uses all his strength to hold the beam down to prevent it from shifting when the wheel passes through. At this time, the driver starts the car and slowly drives it backward over the beam placed under the wheel. This way, the car will be able to escape the hole easily.
