Nearly five years after his death, King of Pop Michael Jackson is set to release a new music product called ''Xscape.''

The album "Xscape" will be released at the end of May and fans can pre-order it via iTunes starting this week.

According to Epic Records, eight previously unknown Jackson songs were edited by some of the world's top music producers.

"Michael left behind a legacy of music that we are proud to present to the music producers he worked with or wanted to work with," label president LA Reid told AFP.

The team was led by "wizard" Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins (who co-wrote and produced the title track), Stargate, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon and John McClain.

Reid noted that the above producers "have the depth and ability to creatively edit Jackson's work."

He also asserted that this may not be the King of Pop's last album, as he "has been given unlimited access to the material Jackson has contributed to over his four-decade career."

"Michael was constantly reaching out to new producers and finding new sounds. He was always on the cutting edge. These songs, in many ways, capture his spirit. We have Reid to thank for this opportunity," McClain shared./.
