Five Deputy Ministers have been reassigned or appointed to new positions.

The Party Central Committee, the Prime Minister, and the Hanoi City Party Committee have recently implemented decisions to transfer and appoint officials in several subordinate units.

Central SecretariatMr. Nguyen Trong Thua, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Interior, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Interior.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Thua was born in 1963 and hails from Hai Duong province. Prior to this, he held positions such as: Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; and Director of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Fisheries Processing and Salt Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Prime Minister has just decided to reorganize the personnel of the National Traffic Safety Committee.

Specifically, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Deputy Minister of National Defense, is also a member of the National Traffic Safety Committee.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao, also a member of the National Traffic Safety Committee, replaces Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong.

Deputy Minister of Justice Le Tien Chau and Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien, who is also a member of the National Traffic Safety Committee.

Hanoi City Party Standing CommitteeDecisions on personnel transfers and appointments have been announced and presented.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee presented the decision and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam has been reassigned from his position as Deputy Chief of the City Party Committee Office to work at the Hoang Mai District Party Committee; he will hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term and will be appointed as the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoang Mai District Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam (born in 1975, PhD in Economics, Economic Engineer, Senior Political Theory...) has held many positions: Deputy Head of the General Affairs Department; Head of the General Affairs Department (Hanoi City Party Committee Office); Secretary to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Secretary to the Secretary of the City Party Committee; Deputy Chief of the Hanoi City Party Committee Office.

The decision has been made to relieve Mr. Tran Anh Tuan from his position as Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union to take up a position at the Hanoi City Party Committee Office as Deputy Chief of Office, with a five-year term of appointment effective from the date of signing.
